Petrol bomb hurled at Independent ULB candidate in Qazigund | KNO

Qazigund, March 25 (KNO) : Unknown persons on Sunday late evening lobbed a petrol bomb at the residence of ULB independent candidate of Panzath area of Qazigund in South Kashmir's Anantnag district. Reports reaching to KNO said that a petrol bomb was hurled at the residence of Aijaz Qadri who is the independent candidate for ULB (Urban local bodies) polls then he joined Congress party in Panzath village of Qazigund. The window of the house of Aijaz Qadri caught fire due to the attack but the fire was immediately extinguished. Aijaz was present with his family at his home at the time of incident. However there was no loss of life or injury reported in the petrol bomb attack. Police told KNO that we are verifying the incident. (KNO)
